Customers planning to position a skip on a public road or verge in Bournemouth will require a permit from the local council, which Quick Skips can help arrange if requested at the time of booking. Skips must be loaded safely and not exceed their capacity, as collections cannot be completed if they are overloaded or hazardous. Drivers are not responsible for levelling contents and additional charges may apply if a collection cannot be carried out. Fires must never be lit inside skips and any damage caused in this way will need to be rectified before removal. Payment is taken at the point of delivery and can be made using a debit card. As a fully licensed waste carrier, Quick Skips ensures all collected materials are handled through authorised transfer facilities, maintaining high standards of compliance and environmental care. By prioritising responsible disposal methods, customers can feel confident that their waste is managed in line with current regulations while keeping environmental impact to a minimum. In addition to skip hire, Quick Skips online booking service offers roll-on/roll-off containers for projects generating higher volumes of waste. Our book a skip online page also operates dedicated grab hire vehicles, grab bags and waste collection – providing an efficient solution for removing bulk materials such as soil and aggregates from sites across Bournemouth.
