Following The Environmental Agency guidelines with special waste

There are now many items defined as ‘special waste’ by The Environmental Agency which can’t be put into skips and taken to landfill because of the negative environmental impact incurred. Items we can no longer deal with include asbestos, liquids, oils and solvents.

Putting plasterboard in one of our skips?

If you’re planning on putting plasterboard into one of our skips, we’ll need to know beforehand. The skip will then be tipped on weight and not skip container size as it is classed as special waste. If you only have a small quantity of plasterboard, we can supply special bags for when a skip is too big.
